Start by checking that you don’t have two cards that are interfering with each other and make sure the card has not been bent. If you only have one card, check that you are not by chance standing in front of the wrong storage unit or have the wrong card. If it is the right storage unit and the right card, the lock may be stressed. Wait for at least seven seconds and then present the card again, in a straight and clear fashion. If this does not work, the card may not have been added to the lock (applies to default setting Mode 1 and Mode 2). If so, add the card. (Also applies to service cards.)
The lock plate may have come out of position, the door may not be straight, or something may have got caught between the lock and lock plate. Try to push the door forcibly inwards, while presenting the card. If this does not work, lift the door upwards or push it downwards while simultaneously pulling outwards, at the same time as presenting the card. Note: If you manage to open the door, don’t forget to screw/move the lock plate back into the correct position or adjust it so that the door is straight before you use the lock again.
First check that you don’t have two cards that are interfering with each other. If you only have one card and the door is open, check that a battery is in the lock. If there is a battery, make sure the little plastic flap next to the battery has been removed. If you hear a sound when you present the card directly against the lock but not from the outside of the door, the door may be too thick or made from the wrong material. (Mifare locks have an antenna as an accessory if this is the problem.) If the door is closed or none of the above work, ask someone with a service card to try to open the lock. If you hear nothing with the service card, try also with the programming card. If it is still completely silent, the lock may be broken.

The lock is not engaging the correct motor position or the motor is locked. Pressing on the lock against the cabinet door can get the lock to engage correctly. If not, replace the lock.

If the storage unit is closed, open the lock with the emergency opening and replace the battery. If the lock will not work after inserting a new battery, the lock may be broken.
If you cannot turn the knob to the open position but the lock is unlocked, the lock cam may be stiff and be sticking against the cabinet frame. Press the door inwards and try to turn it again.

The lock plate may have come out of position or the door may not be straight. Check that everything has been correctly installed and assembled and make adjustments as necessary. If it is a drawer, it may be overloaded, resulting in the lock being unable to reach the lock plate. Try to reduce the load.

If you cannot turn the knob to the locked position, the lock cam may be in the wrong position. Check the cabinet frame for deformations or change to a lock cam that suits the cabinet in question.
If the lock beeps for no reason, this may be down to a number of causes, depending on how the lock sounds.
If it beeps four times again and again with a pause in between, there is a card or a tag too close to the lock. Move the card or tag and then wait at least seven seconds before trying to open or lock.
If the lock beeps sporadically with multiple double beeps, this is a warning signal that the level of the battery in the lock is low. Replace the battery and note down the date on which you replaced it. If the lock beeps with multiple double beeps when you are locking, this is also an indication of low battery level.
If the lock can’t be programmed, there may be several reasons for this. How the lock sounds on various commands is the key to identifying these.
If the lock beeps four times or emits a buzzing sound, this may be due to the programming card not having been added to the lock, or that it was added as a user card or service card Refresh the lock to add the programming card correctly.
If the lock is completely silent when you present the programming card, the card or the lock may be broken. Test with another programming card. If there is no sound at all, you may need to replace the lock.
If the lock does not change mode when you use the mode card, check that you actually hear two beeps in succession as confirmation signal when you try to change. If you only hear a single beep, try again.
If you have problems changing mode, check that you have the correct mode card and you are going via the default setting, as you always have to do so to change mode.
If the lock beeps four times and you try to add a user card, the lock may be in Mode 3, 4 or 5. To be able to add users, the lock must be in default setting Mode 1 or Mode 2. If the lock is already in the default setting or Mode 2, it may be that the service card has not been added. First add the service card; user cards can then be added after that.
If the lock opens of its own accord, the reason may be that the lock plate or door have been incorrectly fitted. The lock will then not engage fully when you close it, which means that the door comes undone despite the fact you have closed it. If you have to press the door/drawer or similar inwards for the lock to lock properly, adjust the lock plate and/or door so that everything is aligned properly.
A lock that opens of its own accord can also be down to the lock having been mistakenly programmed in Mode 4 or 5, resulting in automatic opening after 12 or 2 hours, respectively.
