Flexlock Public Card

Flexlock Public with our standard “Card” system. Public is an external antenna mounted on the outside of the storage unit and used in combination with a Flexlock Invisible installed on the inside. It is designed for situations where the material or thickness of the door makes the lock’s signal insufficient.

Details

A lock for smarter and more convenient storage. Flexlock Public is a robust external antenna specially developed for demanding public environments such as schools, public facilities, and hospitals. It is used together with Flexlock Invisible Mifare 13.56 MHz. The antenna is required when the material or thickness of the door weakens the lock’s signal — for example, metal doors or wooden doors thicker than 20 mm. If the battery runs out, the lock always remains closed. A connector on the underside of the antenna allows the lock to be opened using an external power source. An LED indicator on the antenna shows a green flashing light when the storage unit is available. The locks can be easily reprogrammed to add or remove users — or to change the lock function, such as enabling time‑limited access. Versions adapted for the Card+ or Smart systems are also available.

There are three different systems for the locks: Card, Card+, and Smart.

Card is our standard system, where cards or tags are used as keys. Administration is done locally at each individual lock using programming cards. This is a convenient system for managing a smaller number of users and locks that do not change frequently. It can be integrated with existing RFID cards or tags.

Card+ has the same functions as Card, but also offers access to the locks via our Card+ app. Scan the QR code on the front to gain access to the storage. No cloud solutions or license fees are required. Administration is done locally at each lock using programming cards.

Smart is a flexible system where mobile phones, cards, or tags can be used as keys. It offers cloud based central administration via computer, enabling management of many locks across multiple locations. It works with both iPhone and Android.
