Transportation and storage
Without battery installed
During storage and transportation, we recommend that the battery not be installed or that a battery isolator strip be used. The locks can then be stored near to each other and also near to any RFID cards, such as programming cards etc.
With battery installed
If the battery must be installed during storage and transportation, there should be a distance of at least 200 mm between each lock. This is to ensure the impact on battery lifetime is kept to a minimum.
If the battery is installed, we recommend also that any RFID cards, such as programming cards etc., are stored at least 200 mm from the nearest lock. Otherwise there is a risk that battery lifetime will be affected.
